Consumer can walk into any Bill Payment Centre of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. (Tata Power-DDL) to pay their dues.
There are 22 Tata Power-DDL owned Bill Payment Centers across North and North-West Delhi.Bills of all types i.e. Energy, Demand Notes, Theft, Installments etc. are accepted on these centers.
Payment can be made through Cash, Cheque / DD and Credit / Debit Card.Instant receipt is provided to consumers. Cash payment can be done up to Rs. 4,000/- for Energy Bill, Energy Installment, Theft bill, Theft Installment and up to Rs. 20,000/- in case of Non-Energy bills (Demand Note).Cheque should be drawn in favor of "Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd CA No XXXXXXXXXXX" or "Tata Power-DDL CA NO XXXXXXXXXXX''•
While paying bill through credit/debit card, processing fee is not charged to consumers for payment upto Rs. 5,000/-. For payments above Rs. 5,000/- , consumers have to bear processing charges as applicable, on payable amount.Multi bill single cheque and multi-cheque single bill option is available in these machines.

Any Time Payment Machine (ATPM) is a kiosk based collection mechanism which enables payment for extended hours and is attended by operator on duty.
There are various ATPMs installed at various locations in Tata Power-DDL's licensed area i.e North & North West Delhi.Bills of all types i.e. Energy, Demand Notes, Theft, Installments etc. are accepted on these kiosks.
Payment can be made through Cash, Cheque / DD and Credit / Debit Card. Cash payment can be done up to Rs. 4,000/- for Energy Bill, Energy Installment, Theft bill, Theft Installment and up to Rs. 20,000/- in case of Non-Energy bills (Demand Note).

There are more than 1000+ Axis Bank Branches and ATMs spread in Delhi & NCR. Cheque should be raised in favor of "Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd CA No XXXXXXXXXXX" or "TPDDL CA NO XXXXXXXXXXX" Payment made through Axis drop box/branches gets updated in Tata Power-DDL system next day.
Only energy bill payment can be made through this channel.It is not necessary that consumer should hold Axis bank account for payment of electricity bill in Axis Bank ATM/branches.
Tata Power-DDL offers various partner channels viz PayU Money, Bill desk or Bill Junction through which consumer can avail the facility of Net Banking to pay Tata Power-DDL bills.
On choosing any of the channels, the consumer shall be redirected to service provider's network/site for further procedure and making payment.
Upon completion of the entire payment process, a transaction success/ failure message along with the entire transaction details will be displayed on-screen. You can save / take a print out of the online acknowledgement for reference purpose. Consumers can also make part payments through Net Banking facility.

Any payment through Credit/Debit Cards shall be required to be made at least 3 days in advance before due date, so as to avoid late payment surcharge.
No processing fees/charges shall be charged by Tata Power-DDL for payment made up to a limit of Rs 5,000/- during one billing cycle. For payments above Rs 5,000/-, the processing fees/charges shall be collected directly by the Issuer Bank / Payment Gateway etc from the consumer.
Making online payment through same Credit/Debit Card is allowed for five Contract Account Numbers (CA) during one billing cycle. Registered Consumer required to ensure that payment is made through valid Credit/Debit card, for which consumer may require to prove authentication of card holder, if Tata Power-DDL requires the same in future.
Tata Power-DDL offers various mobile wallet options through which consumer can pay their Tata Power-DDL bills .Wallets has to be loaded with money using debit or credit card, net banking facility or through other modes provided by the different wallets.
Consumers can choose to pay their TATA Power-DDL bills through PAY TM application or website where various payment modes of Credit /Debits Cards, Net Banking and PAY TM wallet option are available. In case of PAY TM, it is not necessary to create mobile wallet.
MMPL (My Mobile Payment Ltd) is a mobile payment service provider that offers consumers an option to make payments to different merchants using their mobile phones VIA SMS facility. Consumers are required to create an wallet
For Bill Inquiry: TDE(11 digit CA No.) & send it to 9212135544( No spaces in SMS text) For each bill enquiry made from the wallet, consumer shall receive an SMS with details of due date & total amount due on the mobile number.
Payment of Tata Power bills using mobile wallets is done by simply sending a SMS. SMS format TDP(11 digit CA no)*(Bill amount)*(Mobile no. of customer) & send it to 9212135544. (Note: no spaces in SMS text) For each payment made from M-Wallet, the customer shall receive an SMS confirming payment on the registered mobile number.
Payment made through MMPL gets updated in Tata Power-DDL system on real time basis. Consumers can make full /part payments through this mode.

Tata Power-DDL Customers need not remember the Tata Power-DDL bank account number to transfer the funds. They need not queue at Tata Power-DDL's counter or reach out to any drop boxes maintained for this purpose. NEFT/RTGS makes payment settlement faster, safer and risk free.
Payment transaction can be tracked through UTR / Reference No issued/generated while making the payment.
Further enhancing customer convenience, Tata Power-DDL has launched a new and easy payment mode for its consumers - Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in collaboration with YES Bank. Now, Tata Power-DDL customers can easily make payments through UPI by using their smartphones to scan the Dynamic QR code printed on the bills (both physical & e-mail) in UPI compliant Banking Apps like BHIM YES Pay, PhonePe or any other bank mobile apps having UPI integration. Customers can also make payments directly using UPI ID/VPA (Virtual Payment Address) which is TPDDLY @yesbankltd).
NPCI has implemented the National Automated Clearing House (NACH), a web based solution for Banks, Financial Institutions, Corporates and Government to facilitate interbank, high volume, electronic transactions which are repetitive and periodic in nature. Consumer can also make Tata Power – DDL Bill payment though NACH. Consumer is required to give one time mandate for auto debit of Tata Power- DDL bill payment and amount will be deducted from his bank account.
Mandate registration can be done by 2 ways, electronically (E-Mandate) and physically (Hard copy).
E-Mandate - The E-mandate facility was introduced to simplify the process of registration for Bill payment. It has introduced with the objective of reducing the registration time from 3 weeks to 1 week, which was a major time reduction. It also intended to reduce paper work and submission of physical forms which were needed earlier for processing.
Consumers can now register the mandate online, which would be digitally signed post OTP validation. It is mandatory that your mobile no. must be registered with the UIDAI (Unique Identity - Aadhaar to all Residents of India) and your aadhar should be linked to your bank account.
Physically – Consumer can also opt for physical mandate registration instead of E-mandate. For this consumer need to fill the Physical mandate form and submitted the same at nearest district office.

To make it easier for our customers to pay their electricity bills, Tata Power-DDL has collaborated with Yes Bank for acceptance of our electricity bill payments at their branches (Over the Counter Payment). Now, Tata Power-DDL customers can pay their bills at selected Yes Bank branches across Delhi NCR through Cash, Cheque or Demand Draft. All the payments will be accepted as per the guidelines prescribed by DERC.
In addition to this, as per Tariff order 2107-18, DERC has allowed cash payments of bills amounting up to Rs.50,000/- at designated scheduled commercial bank branches. Customers interested in making cash payment of their bills for amounts up to Rs.50,000/- can do so at any of the Yes Bank branches provided in the attached list.
Please note that payments of only the full amount of the bill can be made in the branches. Payment of part/excess amount is not allowed. The complete process to be followed at Yes Bank branches is defined below.
Customers of Tata Power-DDL visiting designated YBL (Yes Bank Ltd.) branches for bill payment should carry with them a copy of the electricity bill/e-bill/SMS received from Tata Power-DDL. Carrying the original bill is not mandatory. All relevant details to be captured by the Bank are available in the bill copy/e-bill/SMS.
The bank will ask for the CA number (mentioned on the bill) for payment details, bill amount and due date to validate the transaction. Part/excess payment is not allowed through any mode of transaction viz. Cash/Cheque/DD. YBL Branch to accept payment for exact due amount only.
The designated YBL branch will also accept payments after the due date.
The transaction will be processed only after validation of all the details by the branch.
A stamped acknowledgement receipt will be provided to the customer.
