Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDL), the pioneer power utility providing electricity to over 70 lakh users in Delhi, has announced the winners of their ‘Green Warriors’ Campaign. The objective of the campaign was to encourage children to be the superheroes of sustainability and highlight the adverse effects of global warming.

The campaign received an overwhelming response from children with 1000+ entries, including poems, dance, enactment, etc., from 50+ schools. Each student's 1-minute video was packed with innovative ideas to help save the environment, reduce & control global warming, and build a greener tomorrow.

The campaign is a part of the energy conservation initiative under the company’s ‘Club Enerji’ program.

Congratulating the winners, Mr. Ganesh Srinivasan, CEO of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited, said, “We are glad to see that our future generation is aware of the ongoing climatic challenges, and is going beyond traditional ways to be the brand ambassadors of sustainable living and reduce the effects of global warming. The young students made our campaign a success with their out-of-the-box ideas and creativity. We feel motivated to explore more student-focused initiatives in the coming future. We thank and congratulate each participant for their contribution to promote ‘Green Warriors’ campaign”.

The campaign also spread awareness using Social Media and on-ground activities. The entries were judged by an eminent jury comprising of senior officials from Tata Power-DDL.
