Tata Power-DDL Wins Prestigious Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency
Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDL), a leading power distribution company serving a populace of 7 million in the national capital, has been presented with the prestigious ‘Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency’ for the year 2020 under the 'Power Distribution' Category by the Awards Jury under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Justice M. N. Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India.
‘Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency’ is awarded to stimulate and help organizations to rapidly accelerate the pace of stakeholder-oriented improvement process.
11 different companies were presented the award for their respective sectors under the Energy Efficiency category. Mr. Dwijadas Basak, Chief - Commercial and Social Impact Group, received the award on behalf of the company from Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises and Shri Girish Chandra Murmu, Comptroller and Auditor General of India during the virtual award ceremony.
