Cultural Club & Manthan

Tata Power-DDL has its presence in more than 100 work locations in North and North West Delhi. The company has decentralized Cultural Clubs at various locations which provide a holistic platform to the employees to exhibit their talent and unique skills out of their work areas. These Cultural Clubs, along with the hobby clubs such as Music Club, Sports Council, etc., give the employees an opportunity to share their interests and hobbies with one another. They also organize and participate in various celebrations and festivals across the year. The annual inter-club competition ‘Manthan’ extends a wider platform to the employees to showcase their talents in a wide array of competitions and also get rewarded for the same.

           

ULLAS, the Employee Mela

Tata Power-DDL recognizes the collective spirit of its employees who have contributed in the transformation of the power distribution scenario in the National Capital. To celebrate this spirit, Tata Power-DDL organizes ULLAS, an Employee Mela, every year for the employees and their family members. The event is filled with theme-based Cultural Bonanza, memorable performances by employees and their families along with ‘finger-licious’ food stalls at the Mela.

           

Humrahi- a street fete

As a part of Tata Engage initiative, Tata Power-DDL, in association with University of Delhi, organizes Humrahi, a street fete which is held annually to promote a healthy and empowered lifestyle. It aims at creating an enabling environment for Tata Power-DDL employees to volunteer, and to demonstrate their commitment towards the Group’s ethos of “giving back to the society” and to effectively engage with the community it serves. On this day, various outdoor activities such as cycling, skating, walkathon and aerobics are organized. Rock band performances and Nukkad Natak performances are also organized by Delhi University students.

           

Inter-departmental Sports Competition

Inter-locational and inter-departmental sports competitions are held throughout the year to increase the unbound energy of our employees and to develop camaraderie and team-spirit.

Employee Fitness

At Tata Power-DDL, we believe that “Health is a state of complete Harmony of Body, Spirit & Mind”. Apart from providing regular free health check-ups, we constantly endeavor to improve the state of health and well-being of our employees through various yoga sessions, lectures on healthy lifestyle and nutrition, annual intra company sports competitions, walkathons, cycle rallies and more.

Employee Assistance Program

Employee Assistance Program is an employee counseling and assistance program which helps in addressing employees’ issues that affect their personal & professional life. This service is carried out through external professional counselors for employees & their dependent family members.


In addition, several articles on self-help, work-life balance & workshops help employees overcome their personal & professional dilemmas.
