Tata Power-DDL urges consumers to help power the collective fight against Corona


• Appeals to consumers to make bill payments using Digital Modes and help it provide uninterrupted supply to Critical Services and Utilities 

•  Requests consumers not to visit consumer care centres and opt for digital modes of bill payment ( Website, UPI/ E-Wallets/ Mobile App)

•  Bills to be delivered via electronic modes, so consumers are advised to enrol for E- Bill delivery through WhatsApp, Website, Mobile App or  Call Centre (Toll Free - 19124)

• Recommends consumers to immediately update their existing E-mail IDs, Mobile Numbers, WhatsApp Numbers, in case of any change 

• During the lockdown provisional bills shall be raised as per the estimation formula approved by the DERC

Amidst the Corona Virus pandemic, Tata Power-DDL, a joint venture of Tata Power and the Govt. of Delhi, is providing uninterrupted power supply to several essential and critical services like Hospitals, Laboratories, Pharmacies, Grocery Stores, Cooking Gas Bottling Plants, Delhi Jal Board Plants and powering millions of Delhiites who are Working from Home by following the strict social distancing guidelines issued by the Government.

Considering the challenging situation, Tata Power-DDL has  appealed to its consumers not to visit consumer care centres for bill payments and opt for digital modes of payment (through e-wallets, UPI, Company’s Mobile App or Website) from the confines of their homes.

The company has requested its consumers to  immediately enrol for E- Bill delivery through WhatsApp, Website (www.tatapower-ddl.com) , Mobile App (TPDDL Connect, available on both Android and iOS Platforms)  or  Call Centre (Toll Free - 19124). During the lockdown the door-to-door meter reading and physical bill distribution have been suspended and provisional bills shall be raised as per the estimation formula approved by the DERC. These provisional bills will be sent to the consumers on their registered email IDs,  WhatsApp contact numbers or on registered mobile numbers via SMS. 

Commenting on the decisions, Mr. Ganesh Srinivasan, CEO, Tata Power-DDL said, “We are committed towards providing uninterrupted power supply to all our consumers without compromising with their safety. Even during the lockdown, we are available round-the-clock for our consumers and are taking initiatives that  would ensure easy service options by providing them with e-bills and digital payment options. We urge all our consumers to strictly follow the social distancing guidelines in order to power the collective fight against Corona pandemic.”

The company is also sending interactive E-bills to consumers who have opted for WhatsApp service via its WhatsApp Business Account Number- 7303482071. The consumers can also get their duplicate e-bills by various mediums such as - Mobile App, Website or by calling Call Centre at 19124.
